My Journey into Tech

My fascination with programming began when I was just 10 years old. What started as a simple curiosity quickly turned into a deep passion for writing code and solving complex problems. I began my journey by learning Pascal, Java, C#, and later Python, all while I was still in primary school. With the support of inspiring mentors, I was able to build a solid foundation in software development at a young age.

In my early years, I worked on various hobby projects, ranging from developing a simple game to building a web scraper, creating websites, and even crafting a business desktop application. Each project challenged me in new ways and solidified my love for coding.

As I transitioned to college to study Mathematics, I found that my two passions—math and software development—perfectly complemented each other. My studies in algebra gave me the tools to think more critically about algorithms and logic, leading to the development of my own 2.5D game engine. It was an incredibly rewarding project that bridged the gap between theory and real-world application.

During this time, I also discovered the field of data analytics, which brought together my skills in mathematics and software development. This newfound interest opened up a world of possibilities for me, as I realized how powerful data could be when combined with innovative technology.

My Journey into Leadership

From a young age, I was drawn to team sports, which not only shaped my competitive spirit but also taught me invaluable lessons in leadership. Basketball was my first introduction to teamwork—learning how to collaborate, trust my teammates, and strategize under pressure. It wasn't just about individual skills; it was about how we worked together to achieve success.

Later, I found my true leadership role in curling, where I took on the position of skip (team captain). As a skip, I was responsible for leading and making strategic decisions for our team, both on and off the ice. One of my proudest achievements was leading our national curling team to the European Championship. We worked hard, stayed focused, and I had the honor of guiding us through intense competition.

These experiences on the court and the rink shaped my leadership philosophy—one that revolves around clear communication, strategic thinking, and empowering others to perform at their best.

As a lifelong learner, I stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously enhance my skills. Whether working with cross-functional teams or communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, I am dedicated to delivering results and fostering collaboration.

Custom Power BI Visual

Founded a company to develop a custom visual for Power BI, with a team of developers working to continuously improve its functionality. The project involved designing the visual, integrating it into Power BI, and providing support and updates. In addition to the development of the custom visual, the team also provided services for clients, including customizations, consulting, and training to enhance the visual's effectiveness for specific business needs.

Business Planning Tool (In Progress)

Role: Founder, Developer

Following the success of a custom Power BI visual that enables planning, we are currently developing a comprehensive business planning tool aimed at simplifying the most complex planning scenarios. Our goal is to make advanced planning accessible to businesses of all sizes, providing flexibility and ease of use. Stay tuned as we continue to develop this solution!

We're thrilled to announce that Solved has been awarded P2 funding for our innovative planning solution! We have received €72,000 in funding from the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our journey to transform the way businesses approach planning.

Our new planning solution gives financial experts full control. We've designed the tool to empower users with financial knowledge, enabling them to create sophisticated planning models without needing extensive technical skills. Our goal is to make advanced planning capabilities accessible and intuitive, allowing finance professionals to build and modify models effortlessly. This bridges the gap between financial expertise and technological implementation, allowing more businesses to make data-driven decisions with ease.
